The Principles of the Alexander Technique can be easily and harmoniously integrated with Hatha Yoga practices to enhance the benefits of Yoga and to provide the yoga student with a convincing experience of how the Alexander Technique can improve all aspects of mental and physical activity.

 

You will learn Hatha Yoga practices with the Principles of the Alexander Technique.  Classes are small to facilitate personal attention. The maximum number of students in each class is 10.

 

You will learn to work with your individual capabilities and to safely develop more flexibility and strength in your body as well as your mind.

 

You will wear comfortable, appropriate clothing which will allow you to bend and move and lie on the floor as you practice the postures for stretching and strengthening your muscles.  You will learn breathing practices which have a calming effect on both mind and body, and you will learn how to relax fully and constructively.
